How to Use Gene Search

1. Single Species Search: For the fastest results, select a specific species from the dropdown menu. You can then enter a Gene ID (e.g., Bou_131631), a gene name (e.g., PGR3), or a functional keyword (e.g., UDP-Glycosyltransferase).

2. Global Search (All Species): Use the default "All Species" option to search for a Gene ID, name, or functional keyword across all available genomes. This is powerful for discovery but may result in a slightly longer search time.
